IBM DOORS 9.7.2.7 is now here!
IBM is committed to the ongoing development and support of both DOORS 9.7 and Web Access, running concurrently with DOORS Next. We’re excited to share that IBM Engineering DOORS and Web Access 9.7.2.7 is now widely accessible on IBM Fix Central, marking a significant milestone in providing enhanced features and functionalities to our users.
DOORS 9.7.2.7 contains the following enhancements:
- DOORS 9.7.2.7 introduces several enhancements, including the adoption of the Microsoft Edge Webview2 UI control, replacing the Microsoft .Net Web Browser UI Control in the DOORS application. This shift enables seamless integration with recent versions of third-party applications relying on modern web technologies, ensuring compatibility with up-to-date web browsers.
- The DOORS client application is supported on Microsoft Windows 11.
- Additionally, the DOORS application now offers support for Microsoft Windows 11. The communication protocol between web browsers and the Web Access server has been upgraded to Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2. Similarly, when configured for encryption, the communication between DOORS client and the DOORS server now defaults to TLS 1.2 protocol.
