Overview
IBM Rational DOORS is the requirements management tool that IBM now sells as IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS, often called DOORS 9. The product is the same: modules, links, DXL and DOORS Web Access, with IBM still releasing fix packs.
If your licences, documents or scripts still say Rational DOORS, nothing breaks. Databases, DXL scripts and licence keys carry over to current DOORS 9.7.2.x releases.
New development goes into IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next. We support Rational DOORS installations of any age, upgrade them to the current release and link them to DOORS Next during a move.
